T&T Tassa Monarch 2009

Here are excerpts from T&T Sweet Tassa Senior Band’s first place performance for the 2009 Trinidad & Tobago Tassa Monarch Competition. The complete eight-minute performance was a true spectacle with costumed dancers for each of five hands, various props and human statuary on stage, and fireworks to highlight the finale. You’ll notice the red, white, and black umbrella at the end which represents many different cultures all “under the umbrella of T&T.”
